CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Booking & Payment

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place

  • All prices are listed in AUD (Australian Dollars)

  • Your booking is confirmed once payment is received

 

Participant Cancellations

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.

 

More than 7 days before retreat

  • Full refund minus $30 administration fee​

​

3–7 days before retreat

  • 50% of the total fee will be refunded 

 

Less than 72 hours before retreat / No show

  • No refund will be provided

Transfer Option

You may transfer your booking to another participant if:

 

  • They meet eligibility (18–25 years)

  • You notify us at least 24 hours prior

  • The new participant completes all required forms

 

​​Transfer to Future Retreat

Transfer requests are not guaranteed

  • Assessed on a case-by-case basis

  • A $20 administration fee may apply

 

Medical or Exceptional Circumstances

If you are unable to attend due to illness or emergency:

 

  • Supporting documentation may be required

  • A partial refund or credit may be offered at our discretion

 

Cancellation by Resilience Rise Retreat

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to:

  • Insufficient numbers

  • Facilitator illness

  • Safety or environmental factors

​

In such cases:

​

  • A full refund OR transfer option will be provided

We are not liable for external costs (e.g. travel)

 

Weather Policy

  • The retreat will proceed in most weather conditions

  • Activities may be modified for safety

  • No refunds for weather-related adjustments

 

Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes your rights under the

Australian Consumer Law

1-Day Resilience Rise Retreat (Ages 18–25)

 

Agreement

  • By booking or attending, you agree to be bound by:

  • These Terms & Conditions

  • Cancellation Policy

  • Waiver & Consent Forms

Nature of Service

This retreat provides:

  • Wellbeing education

  • Coaching and personal development

  • Breathwork, mindfulness, and group-based activities.

 

It is not a medical or psychiatric service.

 

Eligibility

You confirm that:

  • You are aged 18–25 years

  • You are physically and mentally able to participate

  • You have provided accurate information.

 

Health & Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for your physical and mental health

  • You will disclose relevant conditions

  • You will seek medical advice where required.

 

Risk Acknowledgement

You understand participation may involve:

  • Emotional processing

  • BreathworkOutdoor or physical activity

  • You voluntarily assume all associated risks.

 

Code of Conduct

You agree to:

  • Respect others and maintain confidentiality

  • Follow facilitator instructions

  • Participate in a safe and respectful manner.

Removal from Retreat

We may remove you without refund if you:

  • Behave in a disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate way

  • Pose a risk to yourself or others.

 

Substance Use

  • Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited

  • You must not attend under the influence.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Resilience Rise Retreat is not liable for:

  • Personal injury (except where required by law)Loss or damage of personal belongings

  • Indirect or consequential loss.

 

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Resilience Rise Retreat against any claims arising from:

  • Your participation

  • Your breach of these Terms.

 

Program Changes

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify schedule, activities, or facilitators

  • Adjust program for safety or operational reasons

 

No refunds will be provided for such changes.

 

Photography & Media

By attending, you consent to:

  • Photos/videos being taken for promotional use

 

You may opt out by notifying us in writing.

 

Confidentiality

  • Participants are expected to respect group confidentiality

  • We cannot guarantee the behaviour of others.

 

Force Majeure

We are not liable for cancellation or changes due to events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disastersGovernment restrictionsPublic health events

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
